Camp HIS KIDS 2020 Programs

Three great options to help us all stay connected, even when we're apart this summer.

HIS KIDS @ Home Virtual Camp is underway! Visit our video gallery for all of the fun cooking videos, skits, songs, and more!

PENPALS Program

We'll match your child (patient or sibling) with another child of the same age and treatment status (patients with patients and siblings with siblings). We'll send each child a packet of stationary, pre-stamped envelopes, pens, stickers, and everything they'll need to start writing! A great way to practice writing skills and make a new friend!

HK@Home Fully Interactive Virtual Camp Program

For kids with cancer and/or siblings, ages 8-17! Join us on 4 separate Fridays (July  17, 24, 31 and August 7).  Each camper will get to make friends with their online “cabin group” with regular online meetings, mailed postcards and letters, and lots of virtual community.  We’ll also present Fridays full of online crafts, games, songs, online entertainment, activities, and a Friday Family Fun night activity! There will be traditional camp fun-campfire, staff variety skit show, end-of-camp dance party– as well as some fun new activities-camp mystery game, costume theme days, mad scientist lab, and more! We’ll also give each camper a Camp HIS KIDS box with all of the supplies and info they need to        complete each activity.

"Unplugged" Camp HIS KIDS Program

For kids with cancer and/or siblings, ages 8-17 who don’t want to log-in and prefer to work off-line at their own pace! Each “unplugged” camper will receive a Camp HIS KIDS box with 4 crafts, 1 STEM      activity, recipe cards, mad scientist experiment cards, camp t-shirt, and more! You can do things at your own pace without logging in. Boxes available by July 10.

Sign-ups for 2020 summer programs are now closed. Check back in August for fall program info.
